Hello there!
Just a few years ago, we were educators working in the public education sector.
We saw high stakes testing and increased demands cause students so much stress, their overall academic, social, and emotional development stagnated and even decreased.
Meanwhile, disruptive behaviors, bullying, trauma, and dropout rates increased.
Even worse, these feelings of frustration and failure can last a lifetime and impact every decision children make in the future.
It was heartbreaking to watch, and it highlighted a break in the system.
We witnessed too many surviving schools fail to bring together the academic half with the social-emotional half. These two halves thrive when combined but struggle in isolation.
